Good luck with the jobs, I always fancied being a visitor assistant or museum guide or similar. My one application was unsuccessful but you're much more suitable than me!

I don't understand why your sock monkeys don't sell like hot cakes, they are brilliant. Have you tried selling them on Folksy? No problem with Mr Spock's ears then? ;)

Yes, I have a site on Folksy, although it's a bit sketchy at the moment and I haven't yet got the fancy versions on it. The name is Silk Monkey, and soon I will have lovely cards to go with it. I think the market was the wrong sort - it turned out to be a car boot, with a lot of vintage stuff, but I think they would do very well at craft sales.

I haven't got as far as Mr Spock's ears yet, but I did find this rather splendid pattern that I might use.

I think I found your site and I've added it. I'm always on the lookout for nice cards. Seeing as I'm getting a new grandbaby I will be after a new sock monkey at some point :) Barney adores his, as do I.

I meant business cards there (they arrived today actually), but I have been finding a lot of stuff that I made to sell years ago, and it includes some nice cards, so I'll add them all to the Folksy site, with some scarves, as soon as I can find the charger for my camera (ahem).

Definitely the admin one, I think, although I would really prefer a visitor assistant at a museum. The houses of parliament would be interesting, but I think they would want me to know a lot about politics!
