Barney loved his sock monkey. He had the choice and had no hesitation in choosing the small one. He was walking about with one of it's arms clutched in his hand, so sweet. Thank you so much :)

Glad you managed to get a few things without getting crushed by the hoards of shoppers out there, the little tree sounds like a bargain buy :) *hugs*

I'm really pleased he liked it!

They seem to be especially popular with boys for some reason.

You got an artificial tree? I thought you wanted a real one. I have to say that I am really happy with our artificial tree. The real trees you can get here come from northern Europe and they're so dried out by the time we get them down here.

I sent you an e-card. Did you get it?
What are your Christmas plans?

No, this year I decided that getting potted trees, which always die on me, was cruel, and Ikea had some nice-looking ones, but in the end neither of us could face the trek there. Instead we had one of those rather nice days where you find everything you set out to buy and a couple of things that you didn't but that are ideal.

No idea what I'm doing on Christmas day yet. My original plan was a quiet day at home watching telly, but now I find that I may have a bunch of people over, which sounds nice.

I like and prefer buying locally as well.
Christmas in good company is always nice. Carolyn and Ray arrive on Saturday!
