Christmas shopping

Sert off to stock up on ingredients in Crouch End, for tomorrow's orgy of cookie and jam-making. There's something very pleasant and nostalgic about shopping when it's dark and all the Christmas lights are on, The greengrocers was especially nice, with piles of green trees and heaps of shiny oranges, making it smell lovely

I am always amazed by how many coffee shops there are in teh London area and how full they are. Always.
