Food (always good)

Spent most of yesterday and today pottering about at home, looking out at the rain and cooking. The weather has been unusually bad for early June, with pretty solid rain since Sunday morning. I love how you experiment with cooking. I have no idea what half the things are that you make but the watercress and goat cheese tart sounds lovely.

But OUCH re: the real knee. Is that one as bad as the other was before your operation? Take care, please?

The weather has been most foul on and off hasn't it? We were lucky on Monday for our garden party and got no rain at all and then back to normal on Tuesday. Glad you had a good visit from g-s. The meal sounds yum. I do like a good goat's cheese tart.

I have been eating strawberries like they are going our of fashion, although trying to do so without cream and also slicing them into breakfast muesli :)

I'm impressed that you made your own chouquettes and macarons. I do love a good macaron.

Ouch to the knee. I hope the swelling goes down. When I fainted (on the Millennium bridge) in London in February my knee swelled up as though it had a goose egg under the skin and I couldn't walk well for a week! I hope your's isn't as bad.
