It's been years and years since I've had a proper wander in Hyde Park.

I've always thought the Albert memorial was so over the top with the gilding but I've always had a certain fondness for it.

The cygnets are sweet and make me think of the Ugly Duckling story.

What a nice walk. I can't remember the last time I went in Hyde Park. Love the elephants, I wonder if they ared travelling ones like the cows, which we had many of for a short time, in Edinburgh when I lived there.

We had the cow parade thing here several years ago, but these are much cuter. I don't think it's moving on thought - from the website it looks as if they are being auctioned off at the end. If I had a really large garden I'd be tempted to buy one!

That's a pity, I'd go and see them if they went to Cambridge. They auctioned the cows off eventually, too.

I think it's the first time I've ever walked right across the park. I did have a stab at finding the gallery last year, but gave up before I got to it.
