So, the weekend was great fun, but very tiring indeed. I still can’t get over how very convenient the Eurostar is, especially now it goes from St Pancras. Wow, what gorgeous photos! And what a beautiful garden! It sounds like it was a splendid trip, and I hope you can go back soon.

Also, English cheddar is the best. It's forever spoiled me for American cheddar! :)

I'm hoping to get back in the spring, preferably with a better camera! There were some lovely things in the second museum, but the only picture that came out was the one of the little cabinet in my last post.

I'm glad you had a good if quick visit. The light in the last photo is really lovely. Perhaps your camera just isn't good with lower light situations but the light in that picture is quite nice.

I have been wanting to go to Paris for ages (it's been decades) and you've just refueled the fire.

It was really just a quick visit to check out how they were doing (and report back to their respective parents), but I'm definitely going back soon, if only for that market, and better weather. The Eurostar makes it so easy, and relatively cheap (about £60 if you book really early).
