Things on Fire, and the Night Carnival

This is definitely a day when I can be grateful for being unemployed. Yesterday evening I was at the Thames Festival, with my niece and some friends, and we stayed for the carnival procession and the fireworks, consuming cider all the while, so I have a slight hangover this morning, and don't seem to be able to bend my knees

What a colourful festival! Hangover, huh?

I hope your knees bend by Friday...the one night we spent in Edinburgh has made me long for more. Waverly station is on two levels. The Boots I mentioned is on the lower (main) level and is right by the ticket barriers. There are benches in that area and we'll be waiting there.

Can't wait!

It wasn't an especially bad hangover, just that I haven't had one in years! The knees seem to be improving now and should be in good form by the weekend.
