More lunch, more museum

I'm frivolling away like mad in my last three unemployed days. Today I had lunch with the Brother (and niece, unexpectedly) in the nice Turkish restaurant near the British Museum, then we went into the museum. The magic mirror is in a case in the Englightenment gallery, next to its rather spiffy leather case, with a label signed by Horace Walpole. It's with a collection of other magical-type stuff, including a little knife that has had the tip of its steel blade replaced with gold by a dodgy alchemist. If you're feeling brave, you can stare into the mirror.

Wonderful day and it's fantastic to hear you could walk all that time. Gives me hope for the future.

What is your actual start date for work? The 15th? Do you have a long commute?

(I didn't know the mirror was there! I'll have to watch out for it next visit. And I love that posh shop by the door. They have lovely things to drool over, don't they?)
