Rather a Frustrating Day

Spent the whole day losing things I had (£15 from my pocket, when I took out a tissue) and not being able to find things I wanted (several books on Strawberry Hill in the British Library). Additionally, it turned out to be one of those days when they let all the rude people out at once to wander the streets and clog up public transport. This

My boyfriend let me have some of his 12 year-old Tullamore Dew last night, but I didn't much care for it.

Definitely an acquired taste - there's a huge range of different sorts, and not everyone likes them all. I'm not too fond of scotch myself, but I love Jameson's, which is Irish, and more like a good bourbon.
