1. Nyanko-sensei from Natsume Yuujinchou. The concept of a fat, middle-aged cat who would rather be lazy, eat and drink somehow speaks deeply to me. ;) 2. Renaldo Moon from Whisper of the Heart and The Cat Returns. He is the cat who takes the public transport like it's the most normal thing in the world for a cat to hop on a train. I like his stoicness. 3. Haru from My Roommate is a Cat. I love how she projects qualities that we associate with humans (such as empathy) in a very feline way.
