We have an air fryer as well. A very useful tool!

We used to have a Tefal Actifry, which has a rotary arm to stir. Parts of it have been replaced, but it has now completely broken down, so we got a 'traditional' air fryer. The results are pretty much the same, but having to manually shake feels like a huge step back. But our current machine is only a third of the price of the cheapest Actifry, so there's that...

First world problems! It rather makes me wonder how people managed years before all this tech?

Probably just fry stuff up in butter. It's what my grandmother did.

It could be very bad, but it could also be very good! And I'm estimating that the chance of it being good are higher.

Potatoes or sweet potatoes out of the air fryer are the bomb! They taste so indulgent and they're not even.

Sweet potatoes even more so, because they're less rich in starch!

It took me a while to come up with five questions, but here they are:

1. What is the most important skill you'd want to impart on your students?
2. How does a geologist end up teaching biology anyway? Wouldn't you want to teach geography or something else?
3. You were going to move away from where you lived, and then you didn't. If jobs and money were not an issue, where would you want to live? Why?
4. What's your favourite alcoholic drink? And non-alcoholic?
5. What is your most successful recipe?
