I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

NYC is awesome. if you enjoyed the city but didn't so much like any attitudes you might have come across, toronto (canada) is almost exactly like new york city without the attitude and much more friendliness, generally speaking. and without the INSANE TAXES and INSANE cost of living.

i'm a friend of kristen's. hope you don't mind me adding you to my friend's list. i enjoyed your first post.

Hi there! Congratulations on being the first non Kristen person to comment in my journal :)

I do intend to get to Canada some day, not the least for the snowboarding! I've served with a few Canadians, and they aren't as stupid as South Park would have us believe, which is quite reassuring really. I don't know much about Toronto, except the Maple Leaves are from there (?) and I only know that from playing NHL games years ago! Actually I'd like to get to Montreal during Grand Prix week and soak up the atmosphere. I hear it's a fantastic restaurant city, and of course I love my F1!

As for the attitudes in NYC, I actually found it pretty good. I've experienced all manner of Americans, but in NYC it was quite tolerable. Having said that, I stayed with Aussie friends in Brooklyn so I didn't really meet that many yanks. :\
