I just read something today that said after 2 years not much if any changes will occur. I am a newbie, pre everything, so not sure how true that is. Wish you luck.

My understanding is that effects depend primarily on your genes and your dose. Certainly I've not noticed any increased hairiness that's specific to where I apply the gel ( ... )

This definitely makes me feel a lot more content-- I have figured that the changes would be less noticeable after a certain point of time, similarly to the first puberty that i went through, but it has been so long since the first puberty that i have forgotten how lengthy the process was. Would most of you agree that biological puberty (i don't know any other term to use) is quicker than medically induced puberty? Just a curious thought.

Anyway, I really liked how you made a point to say not "up to 5 or 6". That makes me feel better about it.

My immediate thought is this

a/ Maybe your dosage now is still a bit low? Do you have other areas where you think you haven't seen much change?

b/ T effects are cumulative. Most non-trans guys don't grow actual beards until they're in their mid-twenties, by which time their body has been under the effects of testosterone for at least 10 years!

Of course it generally doesn't take that long for trans guys because part of those effects are age and weight-related, but there is definitely a huge question of simple letting the body "soak up" the T. Some boys will have full body hair by the time they're 16, and others like my father will have to wait until they're 25 to shave. So I don't think you should give up.

Personally, I didn't have ANY facial hair growth for the first 2,5 years on T. Only in the past few months (I'm 3 years on T) it's started to come in, and now I have a bit at the chin and at the sideburns.

something to consider.
I am on injections for almost 5 years.
my facial hair is slow growing.
I decided to use rogaine to help my facial hair 6 months ago.
I did have success with using Rogaine foam on my face.
you could consider buy some Rogaine and try to help your facial hair.
