This. Took me about a year into transition to admit i was gay. But only ever dated men and had sex with men prior to transition; never interested in women sexually, never identified as a lesbian.
Here's another gay guy chiming in that being a guy and being gay are non-exclusive. I also want to add that my gender doesn't have anything to do with me liking men. For me it's not a matter of wanting-to-be/wishing-to-be male but rather a matter of me being male and having a non-standard male body. I'm a guy who's exclusively attracted to other guys ergo I'm gay

Thanks for all the resources! I am starting to wade through them and have made some notes already. The idea of gender and sexuality being separate shouldn't be so radical to me, but it is. Not to mention intoxicatingly liberating....
