I have that. Hard tissue and large breasts (Just plain D for me, though). I've been binding for a while and I've noticed that it's alright for short term, but if I bind all day every day it starts to get really sore and tender to the touch. I'm taking a break on binding right now (day off from work) with hopes that the pain will dull again.
I'd say give it a try and if it hurts too much, don't push it. You don't want to cause serious damage to yourself.
Pre HRT/top surgery, I had dense tissue and issues with my lymph nodes near my armpits prior to binding. Pre HRT it was difficult/painful. About 2 months into HRT, the lymph nodes stopped acting up and binding was only irritating after 10 or more hours at a stretch. Clearly, ymmv.
I don't have the lumps, but I'm pretty big - your size or bigger, and I find binding looser can actually give me a better look since I don't get weird bulges in odd places, and is, for me, quite comfortable.
You may try a common type of binding, but err on the side of looser when choosing sizes.
