My doctor is not an endo, but he prescribes my T. He's in Montgomery, though.

He's one of only two doctors I've found in Alabama who prescribe T for transgender patients.

If you don't mind me asking, how does he charge? I have basic military insurance so I know i'll be paying out of pocket.

I'm in Birmingham, by way of Auburn. I wish I could help you, but I'm unfamiliar with any doc's down there. Just commenting to let you know you're not alone down here.

Dr Scott Weisburg in B'ham. His office is called Homewood Family Medicine. He deals with many trans patients and is fantastic. He even helped me with finding an ob/gyn who would do my hysto for me.

Thanks for this. I'm going to try to call him. My insurance is not going to cover t. How does he charge?

My insurance covers him but my not my T so I get the T from Stroheckers. I see him every 3 mos for bloodwork but I have other reasons for that check up besides T levels. I don't know what he bills it all as, but I only pay my co-pay.
Also, I am still listed as F with my ins.

I wish. I live about an hour out from mobile and it seems the closest is around a 3 hour drive.
