Post-op swelling 1 side only; Keyhole w/ Dr. Brownstein

I had my surgery, Keyhole w/ Dr. Brownstein, late Nov. 2009 and one side looks great, but the other side still has alot of swelling and scar tissue has developed creating an indented fold or crease.  He's been great about follow-ups, and has told me to be patient. It's been hard for me having this difference but I've no choice to be patient.

Mhmm I had keyhole last June and had weird swelling on one side for a while. I started massaging it regularly and the swelling went down a lot. I also had a weird indent in the scar tissue, which was pretty much fixed when I had revision. Either way, things could be worse. But try massaging it regularly (softly) just when you're watching t.v and stuff.

thanks for the reply. do you happen to recall how long it took for the swelling to go down? Dr B told me that it could be anywhere bet. 3-12 months.
It's just so odd that one side is perfect, and the other side is all swollen and hard from scar tissue.

best,
RS
