I do not think you will have a hard time getting your license. In fact....Im pretty sure you will get legally married just fine - however- like the above poster mentioned if your marriage were ever questioned in the court of law the Littleton case would be used as precedent against the legality of your marriage. Then again- you really didnt ask that did you? :)
I walked in to the court in AZ and filled out the form with my wife. No one asked us for any identification. They assumed we were who we said we were. I'm sure some one could question it if they want since IL won't change my BC without bottom surgery. But I don't really care. :)
They said a photo ID and SS# is required. I'm male on both, and figured I'd go ahead and use the passport since it's federally issued and could hold more weight than a state-issued DL if ever questioned.
Got married just fine (on the 21st), no issues here in VA.
I have a question, though. Let's say a transman marries a cisgendered woman. Some could deem that as a gay marriage. So does that mean the transman (with male on all documents) could marry a cisgendered man?
Technically in the jurisdiction of the 4th court of appeals in Texas. Has been done a couple of times, actually. They go based on chromosomes, nothing else.
