DOWN and out?? Well, that explains my problem. I was wondering how binders helped when I felt like I had tumours under my arms. NOW I won't look so damned stupid.
THanks guys, for the tip. No one told me.

Odd. I've /always/ heard that down and out is the correct method. As for damaging, I'm fairly certain that any form of binding can affect the tissue itself (causing it to break down), but otherwise it wouldn't carry any added risk than the first method you tried.

Chances are, if it hurts less to do it the way you're doing, you're probably doing it right.

Binding should not be painful. If you're getting the desired results and the binder isn't slipping around, it's not too big.

Never heard the up and out method. That /does/ sound rather painful. I'm a bit curious where you heard that.

Oh, BTW, the whole 'migrating breasts' thing cracked me up. Thanks man, you just made my night lol.

i think it really depends on the size of the breasts. i've heard of the up-and-out method, and it seems like that might work better for guys with smaller chests, but i think the down and out works better and is a lot less painful for larger-chested guys.
