It's nevuh gone git dun.

This was to be my big project of a metamorfic_moon submission but I just don't have the time to finish it (probably because I've been off chasing art bunnies - see three of my other four posts to the jumble). So I'm posting the WIP to my journal, instead. Please don't fullview. You'll see all the really ugly sloppy bits.

What a neat idea -- to show the (same) moon and its influence over different periods of Remus's life. It's also an interesting effect to have the colors and moods contrast in the different panels.

I gather that's Greyback in the top left image, and the Shrieking Shack in the right vertical panel? And -- oh, I literally just got the other one, I think (the green light is the clue, right? ...interesting implications if that night was a full moon as well -- such news for Remus to wake up to the next day).

I hope you will go on and finish this ... looking forward to it!

Thanks for your comment!

I wanted a lot of contrast between panels. If I had finished the piece, the thing about the moon was that I don't think it really was a full moon when all of the events happened, but that Remus would associate all of the terrible times in his life with the full moon. One of the planned panels was Remus off sulking with the werewolves - in human form - under the full moon. When you get down to it, I'm just a wannabe writer who has found it easier to draw instead.

I'm not sure I will work on this particular piece anymore. It has been frustrating going because the concept was so solid for me but I just couldn't illustrate it the way I wanted (n00b!).

I bow to your artistic genius! The light in the green panel is incredible. Really seems to be glowing! Thanks for posting!

Thank you for your comment. *blush*

I found a new way of getting things to glow after I being disappointed in the glow of Remus's hand in the saddest thing I've ever drawn.

I have really struggled with this piece and while I felt strongly about the concept, my execution of it has been disappointing from the beginning. I think that's one big reason I kept setting it aside.

This is amazing! Very well done work, and I really can't see what else you would do with this. How the moon is always influencing Remus, both good, bad, wonderful, and horrible. And I love your Greyback, perfectly evil.

I hope you don't mind that I friended you!
