yesterday...photo shoot with a very pregnant tori spelling...apparently she likes pistachios so the magazine the shoot was for ordered in five cases of an expensive local brand. ridiculous. two film crews were there also...one for her reality show and one from hollywood extra...it was crazy ( Read more... )

today i met gene simmons...at his home, which is magnificent. he has two very sweet dogs whom i fell in love with. he also has a very firm handshake and he said i was cute and that i looked like a rockstar. he is a very hospitable and very flirty gentlemen.

i am in a strange mood today...which i attribute to the fact that i am having an "off" day. it's one of those days where i feel nothing but uncertainty about everything...which is unsettling. and these are especially the days i should be going to yoga and making art but i am so unmotivated. i'm not even motivated enough to take film into the lab ( Read more... )

so today is the first day of 2007 that i was actually able to get out of bed/off the couch and not only change out of pjs, but actually go outside! the past four days have completely sucked and i can't remember ever being this sick...my throat was rebeling against me and then the fevers started and finally the sinus congestion kicked in. tomorrow morning i will be on a plane heading for sacramento...apparently it will be between 13 and 7 degrees celcius there. i am going to freeze.

as a side note...it is raining in santa monica. this is unheard of. although from my experience so far, it only rains at night.

i have learned that i do not function well on 9 hours of sleep spread over 4 days. i also learned that vets in LA cost three times as much as vets in ottawa. and that 20 minutes in the vet's office actually translates to about 90 minutes. i also learned that i do not want to be a still life photographer (unless i shoot things the way i see them ( Read more... )
