Sweet Memories
I just have to sub this beautiful performance. It's been a while since Junsu did duet with female singer and as expected it turned amazing. I love this song so much, it's one of old but epic love song in Japan. I think I used to hear this song when I was child, my late father used to play this song on our car. I love the female singer too here. Her soft but powerful enough voice complimented very well with Junsu's tender voice. I loved Junsu's expression here, it was so sweet until it could melt your heart. Ayako Fuji nearly cried in the end of this performance. I hope I could hear more Junsu sings ballads like this in future. Perhaps I'm selfish fan, but if I prefer this kind of song and voice from him.
My sister vs Me, Kpop vs Jpop, Old Idols vs Young Idols
Sometimes I wonder why our tastes, despite that we are sisters, are so different. Perhaps because of our 6 years age differences? But it's fun sometimes when we argue about something useless like kpop vs jpop thing, arguement that will never have an ending. So yesterday I was like watching some Arashi shows and we have this conversation:
- Hey, why do you like such old guys like them?
- Old? They are not old for me.
- Even DBSK is considered as old for me.
- You know what? Great men are the ones who get better with aging
And we continue talking about our preferences. We even had some Music Videos showdown, so we could lure each other to like our preferences. But, really, we just couldn't force likeness or taste. I do know idols that she likes such as Shinee, MBLAQ, C.N Blue, 2PM, 2AM and etc... but I couldn't bring myself to be their fan. Perhaps the same thing happened to my sister. She does know how big DBSK and Arashi are. She complimented how great that Arashi still could laugh and did stupid things together despite that they've been in industry for more than 10 years.
In the end, this stupid discussion ended with this conversation.
- Hey, you know that Shinee is in SM, right?
- I know
- Enjoy your time, ok?
- My time?
- Yes, your time when you still can see them together.
She didn't know how to reply my statement... lol. I'm sorry my sister, I was just kidding with you. It's not that I wish them to disband, but things like this are kinda unavoidable in Kpop scene, lol.
The conclusion is... it's stupid to argue about people preferences. As long as she is happy with her preferences and I'm happy with mine, nothing needs to be argued.
