Rant Section:
It's time for Wheesung. I'm ashamed of myself as Wheesung fan, up until now I haven't made karaoke subbed videos for his MV(s). But I finally did it, yay! I absolutely adore "Fading Star". The lyric is so heart wrenching and of course Wheesung sang it beautifully. Definitely one of top vocalists in Korea. As usual for any wrongly placed translation/lyric, I apologize. My korean language is basically in 0 level xD.
The next rant is about Itazura na Kiss. Yes, you may call it Itazura na Kiss or It Started with a Kiss or They Kiss Again, whatever, they are based on same manga. First version that I saw was the Japanese drama version "Itazura na Kiss" for about 8 or 9 years ago when I was still in Junior High School. I absolutely adored it, despite how short the drama was. And not to mention that Takashi Kashiwabara has that gorgeous look that still made me drool until now.
This drama is classic, enough said. I do believe if there are manga that influenced most of recent mangas in 10 years lately, that would be Itazura na Kiss and Hana Yori Dango. It started the "classic concept" of romance between the difference of worlds of the two main characters. Smart and stupid, rich and poor. The clashing between difference background and personality are what made romantic comedy interesting.
And the stupid me, just found out about anime version of this lovely Itazura na Kiss for about two or three weeks ago. I have finished the TW dramas version "It Started with a Kiss" and "They Kiss Again", but seeing the ending of "They Kiss Again", I was craving for more. But since the original mangaka of this manga has passed away before she finished the manga, I knew it would be difficult for TW drama to make different script for third part because that means it will violated copyrighted that they have bought. But this one... the anime... has a proper ending that came from the husband of the original mangaka! Damn it! I love this anime so much. Basically the whole story is 70% same with Taiwan Version except the ending one. Kotoko (Xiang Qin) and Naoki (Zhi Shu) had a little girl! <3 And they also gave us clue the other characters ending in future. For example Kin-chan (Ah Jin) had 3 boys, which 2 of them are twins!
Kotomi (their little daughter's name) had a same personality just like Kotoko. She loved her father so much and always fight with Kotoko over Naoki. Damn, the last scene was so cute. I literally cried seeing the ending. Because I can't imagine other ending that as perfect as this. Thank you so much for making this anime despite how old the original manga is. I'm totally in hype of Itazura na Kiss that I may ended up re-run the japanese version and taiwan version! lol.
The screencaps below are the snapshots of the last scenes in the anime. Now I can imagine if Taiwan version has the same ending like this one xD. I can totally imagine that! Now all I want is remake of this manga in Japan. Please do it, Japan! lol. With a fresh young actor and actress + following the anime version, everything will be complete for me. Okay, I think I will stop my rant here. I just need to let these out because in real life, I won't be able to let this childish hype in front of my students. They will laugh at me! I will end this post with beautiful ending song from Itazura na Kiss anime. It feels like the mellow version of "Say You Love Me" in opening Taiwan version because the song has a duet between female singer and male rapper <3
