In the manga, Haruka seems to take Michiru for granted. She does settle into some sort of married life with her since she is very committed and also very possessive of Michiru (sweeps her away whenever an admirer appears). But she likes to make Michiru jealous, and she lets Michiru pursue her while she is running after Usagi in a half-platonic, half-romantic way
( ... )
I think they enjoy making each other jealous, which is pretty funny to watch, so I won't complain. As long as they don't do anything irreparably stupid, which I think they understand. (At sixteen??)
Now I have this mental image of Haruka getting her sword and she goes to sleep and she wakes up and looks at it and looks over at Michiru who's also waking up and she's like, "Why is there a blue thing in my sword now?" and Michiru goes, "To remind you of me," and Haruka is like, god dammit.
