London, and David Tennant, and musicals, and more musicals, and o my!

Just came back home after 4 (well, more 3 1/2) days in London. I'm knackered, I want to go to bed... but since I desperately want to tell about it, and my phone's broken down (forgot to put the wireless into the charger before departing - ouch! so no phoning friends or family tonight), LJ post it is.
This way to travelogue )

people: david tennant, theatre, doctor who, torchwood, holiday

It was fabulous. I regard myself as so lucky to have seen DT. His performance... *sighs* If he saved himself he did it low-key, so that you really wouldn't know - stirring, jumping and running around on stage, swordfighting - just awesome.
That's been one performance that really makes you understand what people mean when they say that you have to see a play performed rather than to just read it.

Stratford in summer sounds great. If I can manage it, I'll probably go there end of May/beginning of June, since I'm gonna be in London for John Barrowman's concert on June, 1st anyway. I already had a look, and "As you like it" is on around that time. I guess that could be fun :)
