One thing less that can go wrong

Nov 17, 2008 20:59

Since I tend to be all nervous and squirrelly when it comes to "new" things (which for example can be meeting new people or just taking a trip somewhere for the first time or some really teeny tiny thing other people would do blindfolded), I have to admit I was rather edgy ( more nervous ramblings this way )

theatre, holiday, things that go wrong

Hehe, making it to the theatre I'm sure I can manage - and if I had to walk all the way from Heathrow Airport to central London...

LOL - what happened there? Were you so nervous or did the guy have such a strong accent? XD

Also called Glaswegian - yeah, it is sooo hard to understand the people in Glasgow (it should be the worst English Accent ever).
But there exist in Glasgow people who can speak proper English as well (yes, a real surprise!). I don't know for what (or where) you tried to get tickets, but you had really bad luck with the office. I phoned with a Glasgow Ticket Office too and it was even easier for me to understand them compared to my phonecall to the London Ticket Office (but maybe I was only to nervous to get my Hamlet Tickets).

That's why I can totally understand your first paragraph. It was for me almost the same situation when I ordered my Tickets (and I'm not sure if really all is correct now - but let's see and be confident).
