My real problem with BATTLE OF THE BULGE was that the tank battles were obviously shot in the California desert and not someplace that looked the part of Europe in the winter. And the battles themselves were claustrophobic. (They also could have done a better job disguising that O-1 Bird Dog that Fonda scouts the enemy lines in.)

Yes, the Bulge was the first major battle where the Germans used King Tigers. PBS just had a European-produced series about the Liberation campaign, complete with re-enactors and some actual German hardware.
