Odd Further Thought About Disney's Gargoyles

If Disney went and did a revival now, how much you'd want to bet that they fold it into the Marvel Universe? (Which would have all sorts of awesome possibilities...but also be very bizarre as Gargoyles was in part a reaction to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles [which also became Disneyfied through Jim Henson Studios] and Batman The Animated Series.)

Honestly?

Not at all.

Gargoyles worked because the Manhattan clan were the only supernatural/super critters in New York. If they got integrated into the rest of the MU, it takes away a lot of the "we must remain hidden!" factor -- why should they have to hide if every other person in New York is a mutant/superhero/whatever?

Also, Xanatos and Tony Stark would have words, man. Many words. And the rest of the world would be afraid.
