Attempted to take Mum to the store this afternoon and we didn't get far in Moonshine--it was quickly evident that the rear passenger side tire was going flat. So back at Rather Manor we try to reinflate the tire and Dad notices a nailhead in the tread

I know here in Florida is a chain called Kauffman's... They fix flats for free. They were my best friends when I first got my license as I hit a nail with every tire on my car at least twice.

Moonshine doesn't have a spare laying around?

It's just one of those dinky "only use for getting the car to the next exit" spares.

Ah.

Well, it's something -- most new cars don't even come with that. I still have to track down a serviceable spare (and jack) for my MINI.
