Still going through my research addiction on racing sports cars and GTs and kit cars and so on. Latest question running through my mind: "What are the ultimate racing cars built by the marques that are/were cars my family owned

If you squint, Pontiac gets some Aussie action. The GTO and G8 are Holden's rebadged and run in the super V8 series over there.

Nissan also campaigns the gtr in the SGTC and FIA GT series, and maybe ALMS

Pontiac is officially a dead marque, tho'. And there is talk of rebadging Holdens as Chevies or Buicks in the future.
