First Wal*mart in here was in '98 or so. I've been knowing they were a job vacuum somewhat.

Walmart was a pretty good deal when I was working there when I was 19 or so. I mean, at that age who really gives a damn about insurance and benefits? I was just looking for some quick cash so I could party, buy videogames, and pay for my car.

The sad thing is, I then worked for a factory that made almost twice as much as Walmart at a Temp wage. Then I realized how bad off the 40 and 50 year olds working there are.

Now college has shown every job doesn't make enough and I'll be paying off loans until I die. ;(

I'm in my 40s and I never broke out of "entry-wage". While there is a possibility that going to Tech School may change that for me, I've lost all hope about it. My folks are saying that I may have to invent a new profession to have a career these days.
