Is Macross: Frontier any good? Also, do you know a site where I could get that Minmei music vid compilation... Flashback-something... for cheap?

IMO Frontier is better than Macross Seven by degrees, about the same as Macross Zero, but not as good as Macross Plus.

Flashback 2012 has been posted a bunch of times on YouTube. There are 96 "hits" on a quick search...many cuts of individual songs, some just 10 minute swaths of video.

Macross Plus was so short. I really liked the English dubs for the mini-series, too. I couldn't find it at Best Buy, Fry's, or wherever, but it's one of my favorite animated series of all time. I'm glad Frontier is better than Seven. Seven was a bit uninspiring despite the really nice art.

I could probably get Flashback off YouTube then and convert it into a DVD. My brother's old copy that he got from China Town just went kaput on him one day when he really wanted to watch it. Thanks for the heads up. I'll try and catch a few episodes of Frontier off Crunchy Roll.

My DVD copy of Macross Plus is a Chinese bootleg with Japanese dialogue and Chinese subtitles that can't be turned off. I got it cheap at a second-hand video store because I knew it was a bootleg and that if anybody else bought it they would just complain about it.
