Many don't understand my marriage, and I'm hard put to explain it. No, there's not a whole lot of passion, but there is love. This description fits well. I'm sorry if it doesn't live up to your ideals, Hollywood and lovely as they are. Love comes in many forms.

i really get this. ser and i often have people question are dedication because we come across more like best friends than passionate love birds. our marriage works. i wouldn't trade it for anything. i think people have a misguided idea of what marriage is... but then, considering the divorce rates, it's not a surprise.

You mentioned on the phone that I seemed a little weirded out by your situation. I do not feel weirded out by your situation. I support you, and am glad you're happy. I am a pretty traditional guy. I suspect any weird vibes you got off me were my own reactions to how *I* would react if I were suddenly thrust into your situation. Your situation would not be good for me. I am so so so glad that it is good for you.
