This morning during lab, inpiration hit me like a faceful of that special odor that only a preserved hagfish can have.  So the rest of the day was consumed with dorkful glee as I drew up a tentative VUX skeleton.  Obsessive a little?  But I knew I wouldn't remember it if I waited.

Tail = good in my book, only I would have imagined it a leeetle longer, to provide more balance on land? That head looks pretty heavy.

Tail-painting VUX kids is now clamouring to be drawn. Hope you don't mind me preying on your territory?

Yeah, unfortunatly the spine of my notebook dictated how far back the tail extended, but it does need to be a little longer, and the central tentacles don't look quite heavy enough at the base.

Oh please do! That'd be all kinds of adorable. And there's no territory to prey on, as far as I'm concerned. :)
