I am just curious what makes it not lolita is it not puffy enough because I took off the petticoat? I guess I have just seen a lot of different types of lolita even within Japan designers and it confuses me why this isn't? I never meant it to be strict lolita but I guess just wondering.

The thing with lolita is always the silhouette. Skirts must always have a bell shape to them (no matter which style you choose to wear!), and lolitas never leave their hair unadorned (always accompanied by a bow, or a headdress, or just a small one will do). Lolita just happens to be a really specific style, but the thing is creativity is always encouraged. Have you taken a look at the egl community or the lolita handbook to clarify any doubts you have? =D

I don't understand how it is not lolita at all? I have seen plenty of lolita with just a simple blouse and skirt. I have been to Japan and went to altier boze and Metamophises(eh spelled wrong), and I saw lots of different styles. I don't know, I guess lolita to me doesn't feel like it has to be so confining I mean even the brand name designers play with it all the time ^^

You're wearing a blouse and a long skirt, anyone can do that. I could see how you got your inspiration from lolita style, but this is not a lolita outfit.

huh well I have seen plenty of lolita outfits that are a blouse and a skirt and yes anyone can do it but what is wrong with that, lolita doesn't have to be impossible to execute^^ It is supposed to be fun:)
