So I rarely post in this anymore, but I just wanted to document a moment of hilarity. I skipped work on Friday to be in the audience for Human Giant's 24 hour marathon on MTV. Basically the main reason I went was because Ted Leo was performing, and I love Ted Leo. So we got there and at the start they moved us around in between two studios. Finally

I wanted tickets so bad :( I emailed + never got a reply and i would've totally called out on Friday even though i was slammed with work. Lucky you!!!!

dang i emailed too and didn't get a reply but my friend I think left her number in the email and wrote a paragraph about how much she loves ted so they called her back and gave her three tickets! i wish i could have got you in. tell me about your upcoming shows, we gotta meet up at the pool parties this summer!

ya i did! i was looking for you...it was pretty entertaining. afterward, we went to la quinta for drinks on the rooftop bar. lovely view from up there AND i ended up chatting with your former boss, anjali. she said you were the best intern ever. we were in agreeance about how much you rule. :)
