I'm not sure what we're doing today (besides going to the hospital), but we'll let you know. We're more likely to need help (company) next week when J goes back to work, but we're always happy to see you!
Thanks for writing about this. It's good to know what happened, and how it turned out. Like a little story, except...that it's real :(. Cin and I have been thinking about you and praying for your (and your childs) safe recovery. *hug*
Exactly! A little story about things that happen to Other People! Typical HELLP syndrome happens to about 5-6 people a year at Royal Columbian, and no one has ever seen the version that I had. So strange, and apparently the strangest part is that we are now both doing so well.
I'm sure that knowing that my people were thinking about us helped me to face this thing with a little more strength than I may have otherwise. It helped me just to know that you were out there, so thank you! *hugs*
I'm so glad everything turned out so well. I'm looking forward to meeting him. I guess now we'll have to make an exception of the no boys at girl's night rule.
Hey, he won't actually be a boy for a little while yet! I think that babies are gender-neutral. We'll have to negotiate the girls night thing once he qualifies.
At the time we were busy enough just existing from moment to moment; I think that it is scarier now, looking back on what could have happened. It must have been hardest for J, who had to act as well as react while I was just reacting. He was amazing.. I'm really pleased that we have a little boy, because the world needs more men like him.

I think the first time he shoots you with a pee pee cannon you will realize he is most definitely a boy.
Wow. You're a Mom.
