If you're seriously asking, I think in theory, it's sort of like dressing nicely to show respect at a gathering for someone of high status in their honor (it's as much about the event as the person), and in reality, it's more to impress fellow churchgoers or create some sort of conformity to increase crowd energy.

I dunno, my family usually goes to the casual services.

I don't know, I never understood the concept of dressing up, really. Especially not for church. If God knows everything about you already, he already knows how devoted you are, so it's really just to show everyone else how devoted you are. Sad.

^^this^^ I was always taught that it was a sign of respect to god that you dress up, so ...he knows he's special, I guess...

The best part is that the website says "We are not naturists, that's a hedonistic lifestyle." Getting naked and not having sex? Sounds like naturism to me. LOLz
