[It really is New Feather season, isn't it? He'd greeted a few, though he'd been so exhausted from overusing his hyperresonance that he couldn't bring himself to handle more of them.

And he's about to do the same thing until that cry, because he can't help wincing in sympathy and letting his wings twitch a little. Ow, yeah... He knows what that's like. The first time he was brought here Guy had tackled him to the ground, and... yeah. Ow.

He was going to speak up and ask if he's okay until the newcomer starts to become panicked and disoriented. Well, he's okay enough to do that, at least. Luke still feels concern, though, and it makes him pull the journal closer - and make a face at the view. Dirt...]

[He pauses. The sound of water nearby is nearly overpowering.]

Something smells like pizza. It's driving me crazy. I must be downwind from the village...

[At about that point, he could hear Lloyd's exclamation not just from the journal, but somewhere up ahead. So before he answers, he hurries his steps to see if he can find the source of the voice, and it isn't long until he finds Lloyd looking down at the journal in New Feather garb.]

Yeah, all of it's free!

[... Right, he doesn't have a shirt on...]

Oh, we should... probably find your clothes first, though.

[Lloyd stares at Luke for a moment. (Heh heh, he's taller!)]

Wow, you really look like someone I know... Anyway, let's go. I don't want to turn into an ice cube before we get to the restaurant.

But what Lloyd says makes that smile fade in favor of curiosity, though Luke wastes no time to get closer to his side so they can walk together.]
