Brother got taken away to juvvie tonight.

Things are such a blur and I feel sick. I feel awful. Noone seems to give a goddamn and I don't know what to do. I need to lie in front of a judge in the morning so he can get out.

Don't lie, first of all if you lie you can go to jail. Second of all you shouldn't lie because he needs this. Because if he keeps getting away with it he'll keep doing it, and it will escalate, eventually he will do something very, very serious, and it'll be your fault, because you didn't stop him when you had the chance ( ... )

Absolutely. Ax is right, lying here is really the worst thing you could do. Your brother has to face up to the consequences of his actions or else things are just going to get worse - and he'll end up dragging you and your mother down with him.

If you get him out of this, he's going to expect you to do it every. fucking. time.

It's not your battle to fight. Let him have this chance to grow up.

*hugs* I fully agree with what others have said above. Lying will only makes things worse. You've made it clear that you hope he can change. This can be the first step towards that if you let it.

Babe you know full well that I love you and I do care. I don't know all the facts so I won't claim to, but I know you well enough to know that lying goes against your better judgement. i am here for you if when you are ready to talk. We have been there for each other through a shit load of stuff and I don't plan on changing that now. Please don't lie for him. You two have been through a lot and he needs this chance to grow up a little. *pats head hugging you close*
