Well, I'm back to work now. I'd be lying if I said I was feeling fresh and excited about the new year. It isn't that I stopped loving the job, or the kids...I just hate the teachers. I thought on Monday that perhaps I belong in higher education, but I do love the kids. I really DO love the job. I guess it's being around so many people around whom I can't admit how much I love the job, for fear of being uncool. Ugh! Middle School!

I am lucky to have a fabulous principal who believes in what I do, and tells me that regularly. If it weren't for that, I might not make it.
