I fail to post to lj the vast vast majority of the time and therefore this post may be rather indulgent and cover things which happened months ago. For this I will now apologise.

The thing is, I really haven't been up to much since the new year. The past few months have been mostly filled with very dull, very annoying illnesses, one after the other ( Read more... )

Yes Miss ;) How are things with you and the man?

The man and I are up to our elbows in workmen and paperwork, but deliriously and joyfully in love, so we manage just fine.

During one of my short sojourns over to Facebook (cursed be thy name), I browsed through your pictures of the invading Hungarians. Are two of them Ben's sisters?

Your personal adviser sounds as if he actually wants you to succeed at this, which is refreshing. Of course, the fact that you're charming and brilliant and luscious most likely has not a damned thing to do with it. ;)

Any word as to why your immune system has gone on vacation?

Glad to hear you and the man are so well. Yes, two of them are Ben's sisters (Not Ellenika the blonde), the elder of whom is moving to London in the summer as she'll be at uni over here come September. Which is great, because we really get on.

My personal adviser is indeed amazing, but I hope being 'luscious' isn't what's making him so nice; that would be weird! :D

Ah, my immune system. I have *problems* with my immune system. it would take too long to explain, but suffice to say it occasionally (read frequently) goes splat. This is just one of those times.

Give my love to the boy,

sympathies extended. I think you were at treadwells when I had horrible stress related problems for nearly two years. The body really knows how to let one know, it's not happy. :(

I'm glad you've got an understanding tutor, and best of luck, but I'm darn sure you'll still get those firsts. Where and what are you studying - looking back at your post, English Literature.

And it was very good to see you. Next time I'm down, depending how you are, would be fantastic to meet up for a cup of tea and catch up. Otherwise I'll find you in Treadwells.

Thanks for the tip off. The Gods tate sound just up my street. Will try and get down before that closes!

Lots of love and luck and best wishes.

Yes, anxiety problems; they're not fun, are they? I'm studying English lit at Queen Mary's; I am so glad I got in, I love the course and they are one of the best in the country :D

Was truly lovely to see you too; tea would be wonderful, let me know when you're back and we will plot &c. Do try to see the gods; they are v. cool.

Take care,

Lxx
