I've caught the flying rat that's been tailing me. I've clipped her feathers so she can't fly away. She's actually kind of cute. I don't really have time right now to take care of her, though. Does anyone want to give her a home?

if it isn't one thing..., what is this??

You kept the rat?

Sure. I don't like killing things unless I absolutely have to, and it wasn't hurting anything, just... flapping around. I've been calling her "Nezumi-chan."

Yes, but it's just a little one. She seems very tame now that her feathers have been trimmed.

I accidentally killed mine. It was sitting on the window and when I went to open the window the rat flew at my face and so I swatted it into the wall...and then it was a lollipop. Which I promptly threw out cuz I'm sure that shit came from Twelfth. If your rat is suddenly a lollipop, don't eat it.

A... lollipop? Well, we certainly have enough of those here without me having to eat one that used to be a flying rodent. Nezumi-chan followed me into my room, and I managed to catch her by throwing a towel over her.

Eeeyeah, I already threw it out. There were bath salts, too. Color me unnerved.

*laughing* Great, between you and Mikagami, we've got the Gotei Zoo and Botanical Gardens all in one nice neat package.

Please don't squish her, fukutaichou!

Er... may I keep mine?

I'm not going to squish her, don't worry. You're free to keep the one you found, so long as you keep it out of trouble. I suggest clipping the primary feathers so it won't fly away.

...I named mine Wasabi. I don't think he'd hold still long enough for me to clip anything, but he has started coming when I call his name. I think that might just be because I keep giving him food.

I've heard there was a note inside of them that said they were from the Twelfth. Um. How long do you think they'll live?

I can't say for sure. If they're from the Twelfth, they might live indefinitely.

If he comes when you call him, see if you can wrap him in a towel. That way, you can hold him still long enough to cut the feathers. I can help you if you'd like.
