I had a cat in high school I named Critter... the name she came with was Priscilla, but she was definitely more of a Critter. She'd hunt outside and bring me back snakes, voles, and birds. But her real hunting happened inside the house about three o'clock every morning. She'd hunt socks. At first they were dirty ones my brother and I left about in our rooms or occasionally in the family room. And she had the LOUDEST victory howl that would wake the family. After a few lessons, we were much better at picking up our socks. Then, she raided the dirty clothes hamper for the dirty socks. Once we put something heavy on the hamper, she'd raid our drawers for clean socks! It was clearly an addiction. And no matter what we did, she was able to open our dresser drawers for the socks. And almost every night we endured the victory howl after she "killed" the socks. After a while, we just ignored it and started to sleep through it.
I am glad that other than the cold, you both are doing well!
Yep. Came in to find a "kill" in the middle of the living room floor. I've never seen this glove before and I have NO idea where it came from.
Someone in the neighbourhood is no doubt scratching their head and wondering where they've put the other glove, because they always put them in the same place together.
Sorry to hear you have a cold. It is good to hear that El is doing well.
*hugs*
PS. Sorry I am just now responding to your posts... I just got back from a place with no Internet (or cell service for that matter.). I will try to catch up by tomorrow :)

Thanks, sweetie! I'm feeling much better now. Still pretty tired, but at least I'm breathing properly. :)
That's okay, I'm sure you'll catch up. :D
