I think it turned out fairly well. We'll recheck it when El gets up, but I think it turned out beautifully. Especially for our first attempt!
A Yahrzeit candle is a memorial candle that burns for 24 hours. You light it and then 24 hours later, it burns out. I'd never heard of it, but that doesn't surprise me because I'm not Jewish.
El's Nana was raised Jewish, I believe. And El's Mum was familiar with the use of a Yahrzeit candle.
It just sounded like a nice thing to have on T-Day. :)
I'm feeling heaps better today. The soreness seems to have worked its way out a little bit, and that was the main problem yesterday.
Yeah, they weren't the most entertaining things to go through. *LOL* Because I haven't eaten properly since Thursday, I'm a bit weak and prone to dizzy spells, but...that'll get fixed up soon. :)
I think it is too. I'd never heard of one before. I'm really glad that our counselor told us about them.

I gotta go choose my candle for Thomas. I'll do that tomorrow since I have to go to the Hallmark store anyway to get the hubby a birthday card.
