I'll keep you and El in my thoughts and prayers, with special wishes that the treatment, whichever route your care providers suggest, brings relief from all the symptoms and improves your life immensely.
Much love. {{{hugs}}}

My mum has the exact same thing.
Her thyroid was overactive so she got it removed when she was 22 and had to go on meds to replce it. However she recently found out that not all of the thyroid was removed and it has grown back. She was given the option of going on meds to try to level it out or to use the radioactive iodine. She didn't want that so she went with the meds and they seem to be helping. She hasn't finished her course yet but she's hoping that levels will remain normal. Unfortunatley her kidneys don't seem to be working as well as they should so her doctors are keeping an eye on that.
I've got my fingers crossed for her, and i'll cross them for you too.
