it's called obsession

You know how you can totally get into a fandom, think about it 24/7, (day)dream about it and ramble about it to people who are not the least bit interested? And all you can feel for those people is pity because they're not reading or watching whatever you are reading or watching. It's called obsession, people, and I'm very familiar with it ( Read more... )

Hi there!

You watched Total Eclipse in high school?! Total canon slash in the classroom?! Awesome!

You're not butting in. I don't mind at all. ;)

Obsessions are THE BEST! ;)

Same here. Though I can often count on my brother for getting obsessed about stuff too (like Doctor Who) but some stuff I can't obsess about with anyone so it all happens in my own personal fandom world. Thank god for the Internet. My obsessions come in strong waves, and they can, like with you, disappear ... but usually they resurface sooner or later ;)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Yeah, LJ ... I dunno. I hope things will calm down soon. I'd hate to leave this place, but then again, if everyone of my flist is going some place else, what reason is there to stay around here? Luckily we're not there yet.
