I have never been a huge fan of Cera, but I reckon he was one of the best things in this movie. His awkwardness was delightful this time and while I didn't warm up to Charlyne a lot, he made their relationship pretty cute to me.
So I tried to watch this one but I couldn't. I really just had to turn it off :/ It was just so awkward and embarrassing, and I could not enjoy anything about it. I like Michael Cera a lot in Juno but he was definitely not a reason for me to keep watching.
That Charlyne woman was jost...I don't get her. Is she supposed to be funny or cute or something? Is that a role or is she really like that?
So yeah :/ I didn't get it, and the mockumentary style didn't work for me at all. And it takes a lot for me to stop watching a movie, trust me.
I kind of understand - it wasn't what I hoped it would be either. I have no idea what Charlyne was exactly going for or whether she's really like that, but it was a bit exhausting to watch her IMO ...
