What I like is that she can appear to be listening. The one you sent is also appropriate for when she's telling a story. I just like the idea of Leodora having more than one look, more than one mood.

Hey, Greg...Just finished Shadowbridge (I'm slow). Very cool book, man. Congratulations on the work.

Lucius,

I'm really glad you liked it. Blog early and often (if you do that sort of thing--I'm trying to keep a word of mouth campaign going this time out).

Hey, we're in Datlow's 19 Tales of Suspense together, too.

I blog...so yeah, will do.

Looking forward to Tophet.

I did not know that about Datlow. Excellent.

It's a book of stories, each written in response to a particular story by Edgar Allan Poe. It's due out in January in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Poe's birth. Quite a broad range of stories, dark, funny, very very nasty.

I enjoyed the interview. And I just got a copy of Attack of the Jazz Giants and I'm enjoying that too. :)

I won't! I started at the beginning and am savoring each tale. Loved all the gourmand references in "The Girlfriends of Dorian Gray." I was thinking about reading them in order of publicaton, but Oz told me how much she liked "Dorian Gray," so I start with that one. :)

Oz isn't to be trusted. She likes the nasty ones.
