What I like is that she can appear to be listening. The one you sent is also appropriate for when she's telling a story. I just like the idea of Leodora having more than one look, more than one mood.

It's a book of stories, each written in response to a particular story by Edgar Allan Poe. It's due out in January in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Poe's birth. Quite a broad range of stories, dark, funny, very very nasty.
I won't! I started at the beginning and am savoring each tale. Loved all the gourmand references in "The Girlfriends of Dorian Gray." I was thinking about reading them in order of publicaton, but Oz told me how much she liked "Dorian Gray," so I start with that one. :)
