Great interview! Good thoughtful questions, solid substantive answers. The sort of interview you expect from the Paris Review, when the interviewee gets the questions and writes out the replies, taking his time and using it carefully.

If you did all this on your feet, wow. And if you didn't, wow.

We did it in 3 parts, with the latter two building on the original questions. Very thoughtful on Jay's part, I think. But I had days and days to reply, which helped enormously. (I hope that doesn't diminish your estimation of it...)
